Israel’s defence ministry stated Thursday that it had achieved its largest-ever defence agreement, selling a sophisticated missile defence system to Germany for $3.5 billion after the US authorised the deal. Germany will purchase the Arrow 3 sophisticated defence system, which is designed to intercept long-range ballistic missiles. Since the two nations created the technology together, Israel requested clearance from the US State Department for the agreement.  


The US has approved the deployment of F-16 fighter jets from Denmark and the Netherlands to Ukraine to defend against Russian invaders as soon as pilot training is completed, a source confirmed.
